Ubique Security is a small, elite firm based in Auckland, founded by a former NZ Army soldier with 18 years of service. Focusing on discipline, professionalism, and operational excellence. We provide trusted, on-site security for bars, construction sites, private properties, and small events.

Ubique Security was founded in Auckland by Sione Mataele, a former New Zealand Army soldier with 18 years of distinguished service. After nearly two decades in the Defence Force, Sione recognized two important needs: Businesses and communities need reliable, disciplined security that feels personal not corporate. Good people, especially youth and transitioning Defence members, need real opportunities to build meaningful civilian careers. With these two goals in mind, Ubique Security was born. Built on the military principles of discipline, accountability, and trust, we’ve reimagined security as more than a service it’s a relationship. From day one, we committed to staying small, agile, and community-focused, ensuring every client knows their security team by name. Our journey started with a simple promise: “Protect people, empower people. ” Today, that promise remains the foundation of everything we do.
